did you say they're the same ones that come on 03/04 cobras? just red with a pony instead of saying cobra?

Coolness. You're gunna love the new braking power. Watch your tail though. I found after I installed mine that I stop much quicker than the cars behind me when it becomes suddenly necessary and I had to try and keep the tailgaters a little further at bay.

all the 13" kits are basically the same there are minor differences in a couple variants but they're all the same as far as we usually care.

GT's and v6's come with the same brakes on the <05 models (don't know about 05+). There were 2 designs, a single piston for 94-98 and dual piston for 99-04. Both were totally inadequate for a car with a v8 up front.

SHould have fun with your new brakes!

On another note, I finally put the ultimate test on my cobra brakes (fronts and backs) today. As most of you know, I come off as an ******* which will be shown later in this story. I was coming back to work from lunch with a co-worker today. As I was driving back I see this red pickup with a banner on the rear and says PORNOGRAPHY in big letters, so I speed up as I am curious as to why it says this. As I pull up close I read it and it says something like "men get addicted, women get degraded and children get hurt. BAN PORNOGRAPHY" So as I pull up next to him (with another guy in the passanger seat), I see his window down. Me being the smartass I am, I have to yell "PORNO RULES!!!" Well the guy infront of me decides to stop his lifted chevy quite quickly because of contruction going up ahead. So hes stopping while im yelling this at the guy next to me and my coworker says WATCH OUT! I turned to see a lifted silverado fully stopped about 20 feet in front of me on a 50mph road. I pushed them brakes down pretty quick but not very far down, well before the failing point of my tires. Man them brakes grabbed and stopped me what seemed almost instantly. I must of been 3 inches from being under this huge lifted silverado and I know if he wasnt lifted, I would of been in his back bumper already. Yeah I should of been paying attention to the road but who cant mess with a guy drivin that with that on his back tailgate.

With that said, you should love your new brakes and they will deffinetly come in handy when you have to yell at the guy next to you who has BAN PORNOGRAPHY on the back of his tailgait, and then stop very quickly.

yeah i would of had to order probably the steeda q400 hood and a roush front bumper.

Brakes are probably one of THE best upgrades you can do for your mustang and its overlooked a lot. my stock brakes sure wouldnt of stopped me in that time needed.

Dacula is South of Braselton and North of Grayson...while being Directly east (some parts) of Downtown Lawrenceville

Athens is about 20 mins east of me and ATL is 45 mins south

Luckily I have a friend with a bleeder, I just towed the car to his place lol

i LOVE IT! I might have to buy some different rotors before the install!
They are a bit pricey..but man..I love them They are two piece so I just have to replace the outside portion and not the whole rotor
