Default Wheel Spacers w/ 315's?

I have a pair of BFG drag radials 315//40/17 on 17x10.5 rims. The tires just barely clear my exhaust pipes. So when taking particular turns or driving over bumps I will get a slight rub.

I am unfamiliar with wheel spacers but was wondering if these could help me out. I probably would only need about a 1/4 in. spacer. What are different types of spacers and what are some common concerns I should be aware of when using these. Thanks a lot.

Take it to a muffler shop and ask them to correct the problem as you should not be rubbing. Everyone has 315s with no issues even my gramas wheelchair has it.

Fox bodies and 94-98 sn95's tend to have that problem..as venom stated ..just get your tail pipes moved around a bit..

Some run with spacers but some say its not safe. Spacer is a cheaper resolution but try to see if exhaust tailpipe can be moved. I have SLPS and 295s and its close but I was able to move them out of the way. Here is a good read about them http://www.skulte.com/info_pages.php/pages_id/3 1/4 in can be done but it add more stress on the studs.
