Hooker L/Ts + BBK short H-pipe
Now I can't afford to buy this any time soon, but I was thinking about plans for my car, and I began to wonder, can I use the BBK catted short H-pipe with Hooker Super Compition headers?
I've heard numerous reports that BBK's headers limit ground clearance a bit, which would not be good for me as my car is lowered and speed bumps already present challenges. Where as I've heard that the Hooker headers are well built, have a HIGH quality coating, and provide some of the best ground clearance for a LT header.
Unfortunatly Hooker doesn't seem to make any mid pipes with cats, nor any short H-pipes for my car. ( I want a H-pipe with my Flowmasters), so I was hopeing the two brands could be used together.

No they cannot. The hooker headers are wider than the BBKs. Only the Hooker X-Pipe will fit the Hookers unless you make yourself a H-pipe. A tip, the Hookers are a pain to install, and they leak. I learned this from experience. I switched my hookers for BBks and I have no leaks now. And they dont hang below the body as I have a drop kit as well.

Flowtechs are the same as Hookers, for some reason they dont fit right. Any Longtube makes the same amount of power. Maybe 2-3 hp off. Just make sure they are ceramic so they last.
I would recommend the Bassani Full Lengths. They increase power through the whole powerband.
If you really want to get serious get some JBAs.
