Default Lights stuck on

My 1999 convertible has 2 dome lights at the base of the rear view mirror. They decided to come on and not go off????

Are they on their own fuse? Which one and where?

Thanks.

Do you still have the owners manual, that should tell you, if anything it will be one of the fuses under the drivers side

Uh oh. I have a '99 Vert as well, and the same thing happened to the girl who owned the car before me. Ended up costing her $400+ to get it fixed at Ford, I don't remember what was wrong with it, when I get home I'll check the receipt paper she gave me. For now, take out the bulbs (if you haven't already).

wow 400 bones, that's FORD for ya, probably took 1 hour to fix, 45 min to eat and talk about how they're going to screw someone over on the fix.
sorta off topic, the guy before me took the saleen in due to rough idle, it was the IAC, to buy a new one and swap it for him
FORD charged him almost 300 bones for it, i have the receipt. 2 bolts and a connector and they charge like 250 in labor....i'm in the wrong buisness.

yeah, make sure to take the bulbs out for now.

It takes a real man to admit to this...

My daughter had the headlight dimmer *** fully cranked, so those stayed on regardless of their individual controls. Please laugh quietly.

This came to me shortly after my initial post.

Yeah, turns out they replaced the GEM module, and rewired the vanity mirrors?
