My question is on the new plastic speedo gear I got, where do I pull the old one out from and what tools are required? Thanks~

 

Its on the tranny, follow the speedo cable undo the bolt the holds the tranny cable to tranny,remove the cable you will see the gear at that point. Remove the c clip thats on the gear and put new one on,attach c clip,thats it. All you will need is a flathead,socket or box wrench. I did this on an my old t5 and ours should be the same.

 

it's actually that easy. You shouldn't have any trouble.
