Default Trans. cooler

When changing to 4.10 gears in an auto. would you recommend using a trans. cooler? Or is the stock cooling system O.K.

Dont know why u would need a tranny cooler for gears, but yes get one anyway, your tranny will last a lot longer.

gears make the tranny spin more making more heat, in short if you do any hard driving at all just get one its soo cheap and helps soo much to keep your transmission alive there is no reason not to do it.

Already have cooler. But looks like it would be a pain to put in. Does it install easier than it looks like it will?

that depends on your mechanical accumen. it's not that hard really. It's only hard if you make it hard.
