Default HP question

I have a friend who is looking at picking up a 95 5.0 GT. And the owner has the following installed: GT-40 heads and intake, And a set of BBK shorty headers, never had it dyno'd though. Just wondering if anyone can give me an estimate for HP/TQ. I was guessing probably around 260/250. Anyone else have a good guess? Thanks

GT-40 cast or aluminum heads? I would say maybe close to 250/260 HP to the crank.
If he had the aluminum GT40 Y heads, GT40 intake and a E303 cam, headers, he would have around 320HP to the crank. More with the X heads.

It doesnt matter wether they heads are cast or aluminum. They flow exactly the same, but the aluminun ones weigh half as much. I just wanted an estimate of how much power it probably has, its going to be upgraded further.

IF it was just normal aluminum heads sure. But the Y's and Xs flow more than normal GT 40 cast heads, and your correct they weigh less. I asked because it makes a HP difference.
