Is the light bar for a 99-04 conv. a factory ford part? I know the come the roush comes with them. Anyone know the part number that ford would know?

 

it's not a ford part that I know of. They may resell another makers part like saleen or roush but IIRC ford doesn't make one.

Horsepower TV did a show where they installed the CDC light bar and they really liked the kit. It came with templates and instructions even a Chevy guy could read. Seemed fairly simple to install but you'll need a hole saw and a couple hours.

 

And about 400 bucks. I was trying to get a roush light bar from ford since i have an account with them.

 

bite the bullet and get the CDC bar. Remember...it's not a roll bar, it's a light bar. It adds nothing to structure or safety, just looks.

 

They do add alittle help on keeping it rigid, they said that on horsepower TV also. They do look nice. i'm glad my saleen came with it. people compliment it all the time and tell me all convertibles should have it.

 

CDC is the best bar none - but make no mistake the install is a bitch - ill answer any questiosn u have - u also need a brake light cut off switch - the cheap *** bars jsut look dumb.
