Pro-Dyno, Rob came down and i bought the SCT chip and he tuned it right there in the drive way for free, just had to pay 250 for the chip, but next friday when i go get it dyno/tuned, it will be 250 for that, so 500 for the package. But it was awesome that he tuned it right there, it took an hour, did some second gear runs to see what was going on with the car. those guys are awesome!!!

Ive seen anywhere from 80 an hour to 600 including sct xcal 2 and 3 hours dynotime.

My buddy just paid 600 for his sct xcal 2 and tuning for 3 hours directly by SCT and made 405/397 for a race tune on our ****ty pump gas we have here on an 80 degree day.

You don't need to buy one, but for right around $500 they include a tuner and a dyno tune w/ AF... at least that's what they told me...

figure 1.5hrs dyno time (at whatever rate your tuner charges for dyno time) plus 300 bucks for the chip or 400 for a handheld. My tuner usually charges 400 bucks for the works with a chip tune.

one question, when you get a tune with a hand held do they leave it with you? since its locked your car do you get to keep the tuner? i've never gone to a dyno place so i have no clue how all this crap works....

yep.. you own it in most cases. If they try to tune it with a handheld and don't give it to you, tell them to blow you and put a chip in cuz there's no handheld that's as flexible as a chip.

chris....mile high dyno charges 100 bucks for a tune (assuming you have a Predator) plus dyno time. I think it's like 50 bucks for three runs. So you could get outta there only paying 150 bucks.

I dont really see the point if you dont have a power adder...esoecially since you already have the Predator
