Big restriction or not?

just wondering if going from 2.5in exhaust tubing to 2in would cause a huge decrease in performance? i want to install exhaust cutouts from mr. gasket and they only offer it in 2in.

If it were only long enough to facilitate the cut outs, no prob. Or, copy that design in either 2.25 or 2.5 inch tubing, cut outs are NOT rocket science.
