Brake/Suspension Upgrades

Brake/Suspension Upgrades
I saw on BuyFordRacing.com they have various Cobra, Bullitt, and Mach brake upgrades.
The black Cobra upgrade is $329 and the Mach is $309. WHich one would be preferable? Would I be better served with the Cobra R upgrade at a higher price?
Looking for some input here.
I am alos looking at buying the Bullit suspension upgrade. Would I be better off spending alot more money and buying other items such as the Koni Yellows, Eibach Springs, Steeda sway bars, and UPR adjustable control arms. I am looking at adding a K member later this summer and possibly going to coilovers.
This is my daily driver BUT, I am the type that will drive the hell out of my car on the street AND strip. I want to drive to the strip/track, put on my helmet and drive. So I am okay with the drawbacks of this type of suspension as a daily driver but I am okay with that. I love to drive. Eventually, I will add to the subframes with some Kenny Brown-like matrix structures and a roll cage inside my coupe. I am looking at putting this car on a diet this summer. I would like to get it down to 3100lbs. I guess I am leaning more towards corner carving rather than Drag, but would like to be able to put up some 12 second runs sometime.
I already am looking at the torque boxes and rebuilding the rearend with 4.10's and moser axels. After looking at what you guys have written, I am leaning at adding a different posi based on what you guys have written.
I need to get this all done before august while my wife still is working, after that she is quitting, so it will be my income only . So I have some cash to burn for a little while .
Next year, I am going forged and either a Whipple or Ken Bell on top. THat will be about as far as I go with this car.

The 13 inch brake upgrades are great for our cars. All of the ones you listed are basically the same thing. They are all PBR twin piston calipers. They are the ones that come stock on the 03 cobras, Mach 1s, and the Bullit mustangs. They would probably be one of the best things you can do to your car.
Even better you can get the cobra Rs like you said. They are a Brembo twin piston caliper also but it is much nicer. That kit also comes with the Brembo Rotors. I think they are the two piece ones "drool"...... Supposedy they dramatically reduce braking distance on a stock car. Also they are much less prone to fading on the track. Definately go with teh cobra Rs if you can afford them.
I have heard from alot of people that the bullit suspension kit isnt all that great. Make sure you get all ford parts and not some off brand company. For a budget daily driver who just wants a little lower ride and some stiffer handling then I think the bullit would be a good choice.
Even better you can just get some H&R SS springs, new shocks/struts, caster camber plates, and a MM bumpsteer kit. That would probably be the best route to go if you want it to handle nice.
