Default break in

after the installation of a new set of gears is ther any kind of break in period if so how long is this (miles)

This isnt really true call any manufacture they will tell you to break them in. YOu should drive for 20mins max not above 55mph then let the car sit for 2 hours or more and then drive it again for 20mins maxish then let it cool then do this one more time and you can be good to go. This lets the gears expand and contract from the heat they make and will let them set and be whine free and not make noise.

that actually sounds like a logical ideaaar i figured ther might be some kind of way to break them in i think i once hear you should make sure you drive easy on them and make sure u get into reverse a little bit so i dunno but goood explanation spike thanx

shoot the shop that put them in for me said i didnt have to worry about breaking them in.
