Default How To Install Intake Spacer

Are there any how tos on intake spacers? Will it help out any at all? I bought a ported plenum and I got a mustang tuning (well atleast i think it is) intake spacer with it. Should I go ahead and spend the time to put it on?

I think all you do is unbolt the plenum and everything and put the intake spacer down, then put the plenum on top and use the longer bolts to bolt everything back down. Dont expect anything drastic though.

I know, unfortunately I tried to put it on but I couldnt get the longer bolts to go on... its like the spacer moved it just enough to where something was causing it to not fit. So I gave up on it.. got it for really cheap anyways.. not a big deal.

Hey, guys....moving this to General Tech. Might get more help there. BTW, the spacer will work great with your ported plenum.

Well I got the ported plenum and part of it broke during shipment, I asked if he wanted it returned but he just sent me the cash and told me to ditch it.

Couldnt get the intake spacer on either.. its just sitting in my desk. I think I will save up for a nice aftermarket one.
