Default I broke My Radiator.....

Ok I messed up and broke my radiator. I didnt have much antifreeze in the cooling system and the water froze saturday night. When I left for work sunday morning I didnt know anything was wrong. Then When I was driving it, the heat never came on. I though that it was odd but I just kept driving. Then steam starting soming from under my hood! I pulled over and popped the hood. Steam was everywhere. I could tell that the cooling system was under WAY too much pressure. I panicked and did the worst thing I could possibly do which is take the cap off the coolant fill tank. After I got it loosened the thing blew up and spewed coolant all over the place. It knocked me back a little and I have a bad 2nd degree burn around my entire wrist now. Maybe I wont do that again.................:wallbash:

Well I changed my thermostat and it turned out that it was just frozen water in the cooling system. All of that pressure and everything put a hole in my radiator. Now I have a dilemma. Should I spend $175 for a stock radiator, or spend $350 and get a cobra radiator. I dont want a Fluidyne or anything. I just thought it might be an opprotunity to upgrade.

Just make sure you spend the extra 10 bucks on a quality coolant. I'd go back to stock unless u have wild plans for the car.
