Default MPH Heads Numbers?

Anyone know roughly how much power I'd make if I got the 2 1/2 MPH Heads, agressive cams and full exhaust with LT's?

280-285rwhp is a good ground for estimates.

I think a lot more than that. I think Mug had ONLY cams, (not even that aggressive) and was putting down 280RWHP through an AUTO! OF course with all bolts ons and full exhaust.

With what you said and a few more bolt ons I think you could hit 320RWHP.

310 doesn't sound bad, but the total cost would be about $3500 with installation! Why the hell do they charge so damn much to swap the heads?

You guys are comparing cars with ALL of the bolt ons, to a car who will have heads, cams, and full exhaust.
285 is a great grounds number to a car who wont have any bolt ons besides exhaust. he also has an automatic too so his power will be less than a 5spd even in the exact same setup in a 5spd. Its also just an idea of what he will gain from these modifications too. Some blower setups do 360, some do 410. Its just a number to give you an idea of what you can expect with that modification.

Most people dont do heads unless they have a stroker or force induction. Seems to be the trend. In the long run, I would love to do a 5.4L SOHC stroker, MPH heads and cams, 383CI, now that would be awesome.

Id like to have a new cobra with a smaller pully, full exhaust and intake, and a sct xcal 2.

you are really underestimating that combo....if these are his only mods, LTs, mph 2.5 heads, and agressive cams, 300 almost for sure

I'm saying as a project car or something, not a DD, lol. I'd rather do something different, not forced induction, and just a pulley change.

im thinkin the same thing. always missleading people.

i have yet to see a cobra pullied down break 500. usually they port the eaton to get that high of a horsepower number. keep the stock pulley and add a 100 shot.

I didnt change anything. Look below my post, there is no EDIT comment. I thought I fully implied the NEW COBRA by saying new cobra. 03-04 isnt considered NEW when its 2006 and the new one comes out this summer.
