Rachet, Standard or Metric
I know, I'm a pathetic newbie. But lets say I wanted to go out and buy a ratchet set for working on my Mustang, would I want to get Standard or Metric? And are there any other must-have tools for the mustang modder?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Get a 96 piece mechanic set of rachet and sockets they shoould have both also deep sockets come in handy
In all honesty, for the most part you need a spark plug socket, a 1/4" socket, 8 mm, and a 10 mm and you will be able to do most everything save for the big stuff. Having a set of deep sockets and regular sockets in those sizes is helpful to.

if you ever work on your own car do yourself a favor and get a kit with many deeps, stander length and both metric and standerd sockets i have a 300peice kit plus a **** ton of other tools, but i am always working on my car or freinds etc... i dont pay people to do my work.
Yes, get the Sears mechanics tool set. They sell anywhere from like a 76 piece to over 300 like Spike said. Personally, I have a 150 piece set, and I love it, although, there are some other tools that are useful for our cars. Such as, extensions of various sizes, and a torque wrench. Just go to sears, and look around at there little packages and stuff.
