Default OTTO racing cold air intake

Has anyone else bought the Otto Racing cold air intake from this website? The other night I got in my car to go home and it was raining, and my car wouldn't start... My friend who is a mechanic said that my intake was probably letting water into my engine... has anyone else had this problem with the ****ty air filter they give you?

Get a AEM water by-pass vavle.....otherwise you stand the chance of hydo-locking ur engine!! a friend jus had that happen friday w/ his integra.

Most all performance shops that deal directly with AEM product sell the by-pass

you really dont need that at all. if you dont drive 80mph through water spots you will be fine. There is a reason they dont sell those for any of the mustang intake kits.....answer we dont need them, save your money.

oh and i assume your car started again right?

if you had water in it, it would of hydrolocked and you would be spending some cash to get it fixed.

Ya it started again after many many tries and revving it at about 4k for 2 minutes... my buddy that is a mechanic was the one that pointed it out to me, luckily he was there...
