Hey what kind of HP numbers and what kind of times could a stock Z28 Camaro put out? I think it's a 98. Standard on street tires completely stock. my buddy Danny wants to race my bullitt at the track it's his first time and I want to know what i should expect from him so assume he's a decent driver and lemme know what kinda times i should expect from him.

 

If he has any kinda of driving skills that ls1 will kill you. Not to be a ***** but those ls1's can move. If you are racing in the 1/4 mile and he knows how to drive expect some mid/low 13's...some of them put down 300 rwhp stock.

A while back i saw a completely stock 2000 z28 run a 13.3. The guy could drive though...

 

Motor Trend tested a '00 Z28 comaro...bone stock 6spd 320hp, 13.7 1/4mile. The SS put down 330hp, and a 13.2 1/4mile...it all depend if your buddy can drive or not.

 

Yep the Z28 I had was damn fast,be prepared to be spanked.

 

Look out for third gear, thats all I have to say. Oh, and buy some drag radials...
