Umm, this morning i was driving my stang and whilke i went from PARK to REVERSE (automatic) - i heard something make a LOUD grinding sound...didn't sound healthy...what's wrong / what to buy to fix?

 

is it stick or auto?

 

automatic...it happened out of nowhere...

 

Last time I was driving my car My manual tranny didnt have a PARK or REVERSE on it

 

sounds like what happens when i'm not payin attention and go forward and then reverse really fast. Were you going forward and then jumping quickly into reverse...and also was the car in the gear all the way?

 

The car was fully in park for 5 minutes, put into reverse, and AS it shifted, that DEEP sound came out and I was like , another minor thing was 2day when i went from brake, and accelerated, weird sounds...whats wrong with my pony!??!?!?!??!!? im getting worried...lol

 

someone should check their reading glasses....

 

The only thing i can think of is that for some reason your transmission is goin out, I had a buddy wit a 02 Camaro and his car would continue to rev after he put it in neutral for a few secs...so when he went for from forward to reverse quickly, his gears would sound nasty and grind...is that the sound u were talking about? cuz he had to change out this throttle body, it was all messed up...
