So I have my 8.8 with the 3.27 gearing waiting to go in but I don't have the new speedo gear yet I called steeda and they said that it was on back order but I would have it by wednesday.

My gear buddy wants to do the rear swap tonight and will be away for a bit after that and I want to use all his pneumatic tools I know I can do the speedo gear easy myself when it gets here wednesday.

What I need to know is if this is a wildly stupid idea or if I take it easy and the rpms low the car will be fine.

Going from 2.73 to 3.27 isn't a big jump but it will mess with the tach and therefore auto shift points and the odometer
