Default Gnarly weather in the mile-high...

This picture hit a mall in Aurora, Colorado in the last 45 minutes.

Not sure which one this is. My guess just based on the landscape is that this is the one that was in Dacono, Colorado about 30 minutes ago.

This is just east of where I live.

I believe this one was taken in my town...from the east side looking north.

Just based on the location...I believe my neighbor took this picture. lol

In Aurora, Colorado.

Douglas, County tornado.

Thorton, Colorado

Another from Aurora, Colorado.

I'll have more later. It got really windy and cold when the weather hit us here near Boulder, so I generally stayed inside. I'll have some pictures up in a bit though of the clouds and stuff before things got gnarly.

Thats some scary ****, do yall have basements?
Ever since we drove through one in a bus I have been deathly afraid of tornadoes (I freak out).

Thats how it is here in Oklahoma. I don't understand why people stay in this state... The same tornadoes knock the same houses down every year... Thats crazy though.

I heard that, too. I also heard that the weather (not clear if it was a tornado or microburst) picked up a semi and threw it across three lanes of traffic somewhere out there. Maybe a little more south like in Thorton, but I'm not positive. Overall an interesting day to say the least. And yes we have basements...most of us anyway. Not a lot of people in Dacono, Colorado do...it's more like a trailer park town. I sure do hope that everyone out there is alright. I haven't heard of any deaths from these storms yet, and hopefully I won't have to report such a tragedy.

That's crazy! I just heard they were in CO and I had no idea where so I had to call my friend in Grand Junction to make sure she was aiight.

Awesome photos though.

BTW, Are all of you Floridians ready for hurricane season? Hehehe. They said it is supposed to be a mild one but you know they are usually wrong with predictions on it!

Littleton came out just fine. No hail or anything.

Aurora always gets pounded by that crap though

Tornados are rare as hell out here.

Rare for you guys down south, yeah. There was one that touched down off of the diagonal just outside of Boulder (3 miles from my house!) last year. And weather seems to get closer and closer to us every year.

All in all from this storm there were 5 confirmed tornados and numerous more funnels. Quite a few injuries, only one was bad and I heard it was a guy in Aurora that went out to take a picture of the tornado and ended up getting hit by a flying ac cooler from the mall. But no deaths that I'm aware of.

Glad that nobody was killed. Sucks for the guy that got hit by the ac cooler though!
