Default looking for a better exhaust

I got a 02 gt 5 speed with a set of 40 ser. flowmasters on it. The car also has a cai and underdrive pulleys so basicly stock. I'm not all that happy with the flows and want a o/r x-pipe in hopes of changing the car's sound. Anybody recomend a good x pipe? Money is an issue, looking in the $500 range. Unfortionatly the flows got to stay on the car until it can afford to change them out as well.

you want muscle sound then go with an H-pipe, the Xes are too raspy. ive only had BBK and i like so you'd have to wait for others to chime in on their recommendations.

I have Pypes and I love it. Another cheap priced x-pipe is UPR. They're not the best as far as like a glove fit, but easy to get around for the price.

I have an o/r H pipe with my Flows, love the sound. even without the cams and headers I have I imagine it would still sound pretty good.

O/R H or X will make all the difference. IMO Flow 40's sound amazing with an O/R set-up.

The flows just aren't loud enough for me. You can't hear them at all unless your over 2500 rpm. I watched some vids of the slp lm's and if the x pipe don't fix it then they will. Thanks yall
