i vote for the mufflers, glasspacks sound disgusting and way too loud on a v6 at high rpms, not too mention you can blow out the fiberglass. I say this because a friend had SLP loudmouth on a v6 camaro and it was way too loud for my taste.

If I had to choose out of the two its the mufflers. Glasspacks are for **** bag trucks.

its all about what you like. i have an 88 5.0 with packs and it sounds bad ***, i do have to agree, on a v-6 they tend to sound like jap crap or a pissed off bumble bee. i would recomend flowmaster over thrush any day, no matter the application.

i have true duals with thrush turbo mufflers.. they're quiet but i like them.. most v6 set ups sound raspy and high-pitched at high rpms but this set up isn't so loud

i like the muffler sound better from those two clips, they sound deeper. thing about glasspacks is u either love them or hate them. seems like more people hate them.

im running the exact same setup and i hate it. i even cut the pipe on the original catback like he did. i cut mine in a little bit of a different place and i didnt use a sawzall i used a dremel so the cut got really jacked up and is really unsalvageable so i kinda screwed myself

I dunno, I have true duals with dumps behind the axle. I like the sound of mine a lot. I'd rather have flowmasters, but I get compliments

I would definately have to go with the thrush Mufflers myself, they sound much better than the other.

But also gotta think it is only a v6 lol

"lol No offense to anyone"

Theres nothing wrong with a V6..And this is the V6 tech forums so whats the point of coming here and saying that? and theres plenty of V6s out there that could beat your GT...

I'll run your GT. =)

And imo dude, the thrush **** sucks. Personally, I like my car a little quieter considering its a v6 and doesn't have that nice deep tone.

Even after all the work I'll keep the H Pipe dumped before the rear axle with magnaflows on it..
