Wrecked my baby
Was coming home driving down the road in the right lane truck darts out of the way am like wtf and BOOM a stalled car on the road by the time I saw it I was so close to it slammed brakes on tried to steer away and hit it. POS car too and the lady decides to make **** harder by not cooperating. Only had liability on stang so am out of pocket about 2k to fix it and now my body shop guy is giving me **** 2. Doesn't want to replace BOTH headlights just one and doesn't want to install the mach 1 grill delete instead of OEM grill. Bad week...

Yep they sure did got some nasty bruises on arm and body aching cuz seatbelt i guess but yeah they deployed. Got them repaired instead of replacing them. I am getting one of the local garage shops 2 fix it for me that's why its not as pricy as it should be. Guy's buying a lot of used parts instead of new 2 save money.

I hope you know this shop really well.. That really does not look like $2k worth of damage to me, looks to me that you'd be lucky to get away without any structural damage, I'd go out on a limb and say it's probably at the very least $2k worth of labor not including parts.

dude, look at your fenders....theyre pushed back and tweaked up..you have some major structural damage. i can assure you that you have a bent "frame". if you dont get it repaired correctly, you will regret it; though i thnk that with that much damage, that car is not going to drive correctly again.
im am glad to see that you are ok. that must ahve been scary ****!!! wanna sell that bassani x? lol

How is it not her fault for being in the middle of the road? Do you live in a 'last clear chance' state? Talk to a lawyer, and get her to pay for that ****, or sue her for damages. Do not let this one bite your ***. It is well over 2k in damage, but seriously talk to a lawyer, I do not care what your insurance company says, what her company says, what she says, or what the officer said. They don't all know the law and would rather see your *** stuck with the bill.

Well guys I am one of the persons terrified of having my car touched by strangers. Here in tx where I live all you gotta do is know the right people. I do know this guy that is fixing my car hell I let him fix my 07 yukon when i backed into another truck. He does good work. I been checking on my car since the next day I dropped it off. The rail was a little bent but its getting straightened out. Fender was replaced new along with headlights and new bumper. Hood came off another gt. AlsoI think he called it the core support got replaced. Its the metal part that goes by the radiator and it has like the frame for headlights and all that. door wasnt damaged at all thank god. so yep 2k worth on mine thats using everything new xcept hood n getting airbags repaired. I didn't use a big huge brand name shop. I used a guy that works in the "hood" but still does great quality work. For me its about the work that gets done not where.

Like someone else said car is a 2000 8 yrs old. Depreciated value and its my DD. Its got about 125k on it. I work as a merchandiser so I drive about 50- 75 miles per day at work then school is another 20 plus going out on weekends. You see my point? but I am going to check out pricing on collision for the stang.

shitty story dude.....and like purestang mentioned....i think ur frame is buggered up man. if you can get it done for 2K then jump on that deal.
any time you have to fix the frame, the car will never feel as it did before.
thats terrible news. it hurts every mustang owner to see something like that man,
good that your ok.
