so i installed everything a few weeks back.. (sct, 40%reduced u/ds and k&n) and 93 octane. the improvements are pretty impressive but i haven't had a chance to see what it'll top out at and how fast it'll get there since i live in town and the closest clear stretch is i-10 at night... (last time bout 2 months ago it got about 115..)

 

ive had mine up to 115 as well i thought it was computer limited though. Being mine is an auto it kinda shifted into a cruiseing gear that or just dropped in rpm or im completely wrong and she just didnt have any more to give me lol

 

o and i only fill her up with cheap stuff(87 octane) i really only use her for my daily driver was just curious as to how fast i could get goin lol

 

yea, thats how mine was last time but i'm hopin to get some better results.. and yea its my daily driver 2 but with a tune i set up i'm gettin like 18.5 city miles..

 

lol... i would have also gotten 4.10's+T-Lock then "open her up". as for the limiter, the stock tune shuts it off at 115MPH. i don't see a need for going that fast anyway.

Well, considering your rpms at 115mph are probably around 3k ish..you'll see maybe 125 or something... still no need to go that fast..you really want to see the difference go to a track

 

The fastest I went in my v6 with just a few more mods than you have is about 130mph in 3rd hitting about 5500 rpm. Shouldn't have gone that fast. Fastest in the GT so far is 135 mph, I don't know what the speed limiter is for it, if it has one, but I don't really want to go that fast again haha.

 

so did you open er' up yet im curious cuz besides the tuner our cars are similer

 

not yet, haven't got a chance... the only good (safe... haha) interstate is about 6 miles from my house and i'll have to go to the next exit, but i'll probably go visit some family for an excuse to get out there..

 

i just realized my speedo only goes to 120 hope you swap the gauges for gt gauges or something

 

na.. i got a gps with a speedo on it.. and from what i've seen with it, its pretty damn accurate..
