Default GT logo swap? Possible?

I dont mind the stock GT logos for 99-04 the black plastic is kind of cheasy, was wondering if its possible to get the 05+ logos on the 99-04's I just think it would look really sick on it... im not sure if the 05 ones are adhesive or not tho. if its been done, post some pics.

Yeah its been done before. I am planning on doing it to mine too. I already got 2 '05 & up badges that a guy on another forum sent me from Honolulu (sp). I am waiting to get the 3rd for the back of the car. The only reason I aint put em on yet is cuz I am trying to find cash to get some body work done to me car from where a deer tore up my drivers side last winter. I only know of one guy that has done it and posted pics. His screen name is Slither. He is a member here and also the owner of www.silvermustangs.com , I will go look around to see if I can find one of his pics for ya.

As I just said a few posts ago, I have been wanting to do this swap for a while now. But I just got a wild hair up my *** with an idea. I wonder what that would look like on my silver car with the badge pained. Im thinking paint the whole thing black, then take a fine tiped brush and go through that center "crease" thats originally black but paint that part silver..... Hmmm I might have to try that out on one of these that I got laying in my center console. I never have liked the look of chrome or that polished look with lighter color cars. Im not knocking you guys that DO have that stuff.... Its just not something I really care for. If it turns out looking shitty... the thing costs less than 20 bucks and thats at the stealership too!

I seen em on E Bay for like 8 bucks or so. Im just not a fan of E Bay myself. Im that type thats always paranoid of scammers so I have never bought anything from there. On the other hand though. A month or so ago when I was replacing my AC compressor I went to the ford stealership to ask some questions about the job at hand. While I was there I asked the parts guy if he could get me those badges and he quoted me I THINK it was 16.50 per. I guess you can choose your poison here LOL.

16.50x3=70?

That's almost as smart as 2+2=fish.

lol not this again... doesn't say any anniversary to begin with thats what my whole point was back then. Now if they were going and putting the 09 Anniversary badge on their 99-04's IMO thats lame. So I say go for it. Looks good

not sure who that is, but i dont see anything wrong with swapping out GT logos with GT Logos' or sixxer with sixxer... only bad thing is putting GT's on 6's and cobra's on GT's etc.

Just saw this. I had the 35th badges on mine which had 3 lovely holes. I had the whole care re-painted a couple of years ago. I stopped by the shop and saw they badges would not cover the existing holes so I had them filled in. So under my badges it is completely smooth. You should be able to pull it off though since you have old GT badges.

I think I paid like $1800. I had a dent with cracked paint repaired also. In addition to that I had my third brake light filled in, trunk key hole filled, badge holes filled, new hood painted, spoiler removed with holes filled, new front bumper painted. I have been going to the same paint place for 8 yrs or so and they hook me up and take care of me.
