Do the lips of FR500s/bullitts have a coating over them?

My chrome ones don't, but the're chome. You probably want to know about the painted rims huh?

mine have a clear coat...i had them since december 2006 and they are starting to peel. im looking around for a powder coating place to have the rims done up in a darker grey without a polished lip.
