Default Deal on a stang?

Hey guys, i'm looking at an 04 GT Black exterior tan interior, leather, 40th aniversary edition with 31,000 miles. It's listed for 15K online at the dealers website. KBB on one is 17.5K, I plan to go see it in person late this week and if they let me test drive it. Is there anything out of the ordinary that I should be looking for? It looks stock from what I can tell and carfax comes up clean, heres the link. Do dealers usaully give out money if your trade in is worth more than the product your looking at? http://richardsonimports.ebizautos.c...t-2265202.html

Id sell mine for $13,500, maybe. Black on black 03 auto GT with 25k. Just needs a little bit of repaint.

The dealership will rip you on trade ins. You're better off selling your current car. Pictures dont really show much, especially when it comes to paint, and the car is indoors so that doesnt help. PM me and Ill tell you how to tell if the car has been repainted. Other then that, look for your basic signs that the car has been modded and taken care of properly.

Sure...a deal is a deal and you can really work out almost anything. If you trade is worth more then the car, then they will give you back the difference in cash. As everyone knows, you will usually get more if you sell outright, but that is also a pain in the ***. Your trade will also reduce the tax you will owe too.

Dealers can make it appear to offer you more for your trade but not allowing as much off for the car.

BTW, you loose on a car transaction. The smart move is nearly always keeping what you currently have, but that is no fun - lol

I know exactly where that dealership is. I live maybe 25-30 minutes from there. They always have nice cars. Theres a ton of dealerships out there, go shopping. But I'm pretty sure that 04 has been there awhile, check and see how long they've had it.

Where exactly do you live Steeda97? I'm over in Absecon right out of AC, we should meet up one day for fun =). As far as what you said WaterDR I know you always loose in a car transaction, as soon as it goes off the lot the resale goes down but I got my car for a steal and I think I can get a little more than what I paid. None the less is that Mustang a good deal worth jumping on? They're is also another 04 GT I already looked at with about 5,000 more miles and they want more $$$ for it.

It sounds like an average deal. From what I can tell by the pics it looks like it has the bullitt shifter bezel and pedals on the interior. The battery is also not stock which seems odd for a 04 w/31000.

Also where is the traction control button?

The plastic peice around the shifter does not look like it matches.
