Does anyone know what rated HP for a 96-98 stock auto is...thanks for taking the time to read this...

talking about the Automatic Transmission...i know the motor was rated at 215hp and the block can handle over 600hp and the internals last to about 400rwhp...so now i'm wondering how much can the Automatic handle.....thanks for taking the time to read this....

About 400rwhp. This will vary depending on your tune, miles, etc.

so your telling me the Stock Automatic Transmission in a 1997 Ford Mustang GT can handle about 400rwhp...is that right....thanks for taking the time to read this...

Yes, about 400rwhp, but it depends on a lot of other things.
