'98 taillights on a '95?

I have a '95 v6 mustang with the horizontal striped tail lights. i want to know if the '98 style rounded vertical style lights will fit my mustang.

however, you are 'supposed' to get some sort of converter... some sort of new wiring kit. It will work, jut not perfectly or some BS... that is what I have heard.
HOWEVER I like the look of clean, refinished 94 and 95 horizontal tails...
they look MUCH better at night =D
