MM control arms

Default MM control arms

does maximum motorsports make rear upper control arms????

also how much of a chance am i taking at snapping an axle running with bfg drag radials, 4.10s, and upper and lower control arms??

Eh thats an iffy setup. Your uppers and lowers are going to help plant that power and only puts more strain on your axles when taking off. personally, its not a risk I would take because you may be walking home or getting a ride from the tow truck. Then again, there are guys running drag radials with nitrous and are fine. you are flipping a coin.

MM doesn't make uppers per say. They "box" the stock ford units. They do this because a lot of aftermarket uppers tend to bind and **** up pinion angle etc.

so i should go like maximum motorsport lowers and steeda uppers?

MM lowers and box your stock ones.

you place a little plate of steel across the U in the UCA, and weld it there. THat's gunna help keep it from squirming around. The bushings in the back are the really bad part but you dare not replace the UCA bushings with anything stiffer or it binds BAD. If you want traction, then a torque arm is the way to go. If you want to not snap an axle.. build up your back end with better stuff like 31 spline axles and a better diff.
