I'd be a little wary of handing 3 grand to anyone for a shortblock without knowing exactly what brand of rods and pistons. Other than that, it's a great spec. You can check out CHP, DSS, VT engines, and Livernois for competitive packages.

Id stay away from DSS. VT, Livernois, MMR, Boss330, and Pro Line Racing (now does MPH engines) are all good choices.

Ive heard there have been some problems with DSS mod motors. But they make great push rods.
