Lightbulb aluminum driveshaft?

Does an Aluminum Driveshaft really get hp to the wheels more effeciently, or should I even Bother...?

IMO get the aluminium driveshaft if you need to replace your U joints. They're not that pricey and it's a ton easier to replace the driveshaft than doing the u joints. If your existing driveshaft is OK, save your money or spend it on something else. The performance gains are negligable and not worth the $$ spent.

I agree, plus the aluminum is light, but i can carry the stock driveshaft in one hand no problem, it's light also.

I agree. If you really want one then find as used one for around $100. Thats what I did.

i like mine car has less vibrations and is easier to get moving. Performance wise of course you cant feel it only the track will tell.

I've had both, done back to back dyno runs after swapping, run them on live axle and IRS... they're really just a 250 dollar way to lose 8lbs from the car. If you're going to blow 250 on the car, do it somewhere else unless you really want the bling. It does help a little little little bit but not enough to matter.

FWIW, I have one now but only because it was 1. free, 2. Free, 3. FREE, 4. required since I changed from IRS back to a stick axle and needed a GT length unit and my neighbor offered it to me in a pinch.

thanks, that's all I needed to know. I'll scratch that mod off my list.
