No the parking lot is paved, i guess i just ran through a bit of dirt or something with the left tire. Right behind where i started is dirt/gravel tho. We pull big trucks thru there all day so im sure some gets to the pavement.

I have really been considering selling my dumped Mac catback for a Violator setup. That 2nd video really makes me wanna get it. It sounds badass with an H and that's the only mid pipe for me. Hrmmmm I really wanna try a set out now.

Thanks Dustin!!!! I went the safe route when i bought my flowmasters. Ya KNOW they sound good, you hear em everywhere. But i became bored with them n wanted something different and a bit louder. I actually was considering SLP Loudmouths until this past weekend. I was at the local mustang shop, and they were putting a set on a new body GT 350. It had an offroad H as well. When they fired that car up... OMG it was LOUD! So that steered me away from those pretty quickly. Then the guy at the shop suggested Violators. I had only seen videos of cars with them, never heard them in person. So... being that im friends with the guys at the muffler shop, they told me if i went n bought the Violators they'd cut out my Flows n weld in the Violators for free, just for the hell of it to see what they sounded like. And I'll have to say, they are quite loud, and definitely a different sound. They've got more "cackle" to them but i like em. Some folks prolly don't care for that sound but it suits me. Let me know if you end up going with the Violators and what ya think!

I think you gave the bullitt the perfect sound.. In most cases people redo the exhaust from the headers back and it looses its nice sound. If i had a bullitt all i'd do is take the cat's off. I've heard they come with borlas stock or something, I dunno. But very nice.

Thanks man. If I'm not mistaken, the Bullitts came from the factory with ArvinMeritor Mufflers. The same company that manufacturs the stock 'Vette mufflers. It sounded better than a stock GT, but still too tame for my tastes. So i went with 2.5" offroad H pipe and 2.5" Flowmaster Super 44's. Got bored with those, so yesterday i dropped the Flows and threw some Pypes Violators at it. I love em!

They are louder then the GT's, and have a cool note to them. They sound pretty good with just an o/r H-pipe on them for sure. But they just aren't very loud even with an o/r mid pipe. They aren't made by borla though.

I like them but I don't - if that makes sense. I am kind of partial to Borla Stingers on a GT or Cobra.

How can i explain it? The video just doesn't capture the true sound... At idle, low RPM'S, and normal acceleration, they sound quite a bit like Flowmasters, but with a bit more "cackle" when you get down on it hard, they really sing. At WOT, they're kinda raspy but not as high pitched as LM1's.
