you talking about west palm beach? yeah you have to have some money to move here. its beautiful place though. just a tip, if you're going to move to florida do it around winter right after christmas. thats when prices are at the lowest and deals are to be made. in the summer people pay over asking price for houses. i work for a realty company so if you're really interested i could help you out.

floppy- I'll have to keep an eye out for ya. Are you going tomorrow? A friend of mine is bringing his 6.0 GTO out. Should make an 11 sec pass.
dom- It is very nice here. I would move to the outside of WPB. Homes in Port St. Lucie are reasonable, but are climbing fast. Come on over

Crank up the 4.6-liter V8 and listen to that throaty exhaust. Mustangs have always had the sweetest exhaust sound around, and this time Ford gave the 2005 Mustang GT a 2.5-inch exhaust system all the way to its dual tips. Depress the clutch and shift into first gear. Note that this manual transmission isn't as difficult to operate as those in recent Cobra Mustangs, but it's not easy either. There is a $995 automatic available as an option, and Ford expects this will be found in the vast majority of the Mustangs. Frankly, I'd thankfully spring for the automatic and prefer it for commuting and around-town driving. After exiting first gear, the remaining shifts are easily done (but not snick-snick either!). Why so tough? This is a powerful car needing heavy-duty drivetrain components. It's got them - and a driver will pay the price. Okay, pop quiz: What category does the government put the Mustang in? Forget it. You'll never guess. It's a subcompact. Right. And I'm Spiderman. This subcompact gets about the worse mileage of any car in that category: 17 city and 25 highway. Yes, that's dreadful for a subcompact. But in reality the only competition this muscle car has is the Pontiac GTO which is bigger and more expensive.
there maybe now you will be happy

An 03 and 04 Evo will easily run low 13s stock. I did plenty of times. An Evo with an exhaust will easily run mid to low 12's. I did.
A stock Evo will easily pull 1.7 sixty foot times. An Evo with an exhuast (Stock rims/tires) can easily pull 1.6 sixty foot times. Again, I did.
That is what Evos do.
The knock sensor does not pick up exhaust noise from a straight piped v8. Very simple... it doesnt. The MAF can get screwy, that is correct. Ive never had it happen but I have seen it happen (Car stumbled alot at idle... didnt die) from a straight piped Rotary.
Oh and the MRs get terrible at the track once they hit over around 115mph or so. They run out of gear... the 1-5 gears are NOT the same as normal Evos.
As for launching them... it isnt revving it to the rev limiter and dumping Really wish it was that easy.

Trinababe- A stock 03 -04 evo will not run a low 13 stock anywhere where the humidity is high. The best you'll get out of a stock evo in Florida is high 13's at best. Most run 14.0.

when will this thread die.

OK Guess all the Evos I drive are extra balsy from the factory compared to the ones in Florida. Or maybe people in florida just cant drive j/k
