Default New best times for my V6

This weekend was the first weekend for Drag racing at BeaverSprings PA. I decided to head up with my cousins and see if I can improve from my 07 times. New this time was my 3.73 gears, t-lock, and Nitto 555R DR in the rear. After getting used to the track with the new gears and tires, I hit two of my best runs.

Run 4 Run 6
60' - 2.097 60' - 2.066
1/4 - 14.604 1/4 - 14.415
mph - 95.71 mph - 96.38

That is almost a second faster then last year. As I am still new to this drag racing scene. How do these numbers look? I was hoping to be hitting over 100 mph this weekend. Last year I hit 95 at 15.378 second. I thought with 14.4s I would be over 100.

thanks

your mph is right on with the et. If you were trapping near 100 you would be in the 13's with that 60' time. Good times though. What year 3.8 do you have?

Its a 2000. Thanks for the info. I guess I need to start putting my car on a diet. Or getting some juice added.

Yup those are my mods. Next thing I am looking at getting is an intercooler for my Vortech and getting a smaller pulley. Hopefully that will bring me down into the 13's.

Thanks for the comments.

It was dyno at 255 at the wheels and 263 torque. I would like to hit 300 HP this summer. So I am pondering getting the intercooler with new pulleys for the supercharger or getting rid of weight.

wow...255 hp with an s/c? vortech sucks more than i thought...no offense.

i have seen some bolt on V6s with a procharger reach high 200s to 300.

but then again the vortech is ***** and has no intercooler.
