I would be curious to see some 05 times as well. All I know is they are pretty damn quick. The other day I was cruising home on the freeway and behind me was an 05 GT and a late model Trans Am, I think it was a 2001 or 2002. Anyway the 05 GT jumped out from behind me and took off and the Trans Am took off after him and the 05 just left him in the dust. I don't know if the Trans Am was pushing it or not, but I was impressed by how fast the 05 took off.

Yeah, they are pretty quick. My boss let me drive his 05 gt around for a little bit and I'm pretty sure it would kick the crap out of my car. When I was driving it I kept thinking...this doesn't feel like mustang based on the fact the ride was quiet and pretty smooth. I've said this before, but I don't like how big the 05's are and feel, but after driving one I'm going to have to break down and get one in a year or so.

yea the feel is incredible... but... im sure if we worked on our suspension and went with a panhard setup we would be liking our ride too

I think your right about the suspension. I've thinking about putting the bullitt suspension kit on my car, but do I want to keep modding it or save for a new model!!?? But I'm thiinking with some gears, throttle body/plenum and x. Pipe I'm thinking that I could take a stock 05! Ha ha

yea with gears, x-pipe, and a plenum/tb intake setup... and some good driving.. an 05 GT shouldnt be too much of a problem...

id have to say that if i had an x-pipe im sure that car length at around 100 wouldnt have been the case....

I dont know which ones yall have driven but I work at a ford dealership and have driven several 5 speed and automatics and they all feel bad slow to me however they drive and ride awesome not like any other mustang not even close however the potential is definitely there with a reflash. gotta have me a yellow one

I have seen a bunch at events running real good with mod's as quick as 11.00 with a Paxton blower on it. There has only been one show up for street tire test and tune and he did not run real well but that was all driver. I'd like to line agaist one just for fun. From what I have read a tune, exhaust and CAI nets about 45 rwhp. Those cars are going to be quick once the after market figures out the new suspension. They also look incredible with some decent wheels and the Roush body kits with stripes.
