Question Went from 108 trap to 103?????

I have a 99 cobra that i ran two years ago at the track and best was a
13.25@108. That was with 3.27 gears and 245 street tires on the stock 17's and stock timing.
Since that run i have added a Steeda timing adjuster @16 degrees timing. An aluminum driveshaft, 03 cobra 31 spline half shafts, auburn pro series posi,
4.30 gears and MT 275/40 drag radials and mix 110/92 . I ran the car last night and could only muster a 13.3@103 for 5 consecutive runs??? i was running 15psi in the tires and getting 1.9 60 foots and before was only 2.1 60 fts but my trap speed has dropped a bunch? My top end just doesnt pull now.
could it be Air/Fuel problems? the car idles fine runs fine and no misses so im totally confused any information would be greatly appreciated... From what i have read online i should be running mid to high 12's and trapping around 110.

I would suggest ditching the timing adjuster in favor of good tune for starters.

Default I was thinking that too...

I actually already have an SCT chip in my car to correct my speedo for the
4.30s and 19" wheels. So i was told i can just sell my timing adjuster and then have the tune done to my car. I think thats where im going to start because i was very disappointed with all that work done to run the same 1/4 and way slower trap... :angry5:

no exhaust work done? Add an x-pipe! That will move your power band up higher

Default I do have exhaust work done already too

My current mods are. BBk full fenderwell cold air intake, steeda timing adjuster, steeda underdrive pulleys,180 stat,03 cobra "colder" plugs, Mac 2.5" prochamber and flowmasters no cats with MIL eliminator, Royal purple 5/30 full synthetic, SPEC 3 clutch, steeda tri-ax,FRPP aluminum driveshaft, 4.30 gears with 03 cobra 31 spline half shafts and auburn pro series posi,MT 275/40 Drag radials. I still have the stock manifolds but its just so expensive for nice long tubes and installation!
I would also like to do the canton oil pan at the same time as the headers if i do them. Is it worth modifying the stock 80mm MASS air?

Don't mess with the stock mass air, there is no need to.
Get a SCT tune. I have not heard anything good about the Mac cold air kits. The JLT's have made good gains on the 4 valve motors. Switching to 4.30's from stocks gears takes some getting used to, it's not unusal to be slower with lower gears for a while. Once you get used to them you will be much faster. The 4 valve motors really like to be rev'd up high so experiment with your shift points. 400 rpm above peak HP is a good place to start.

108 is high for a 13.2 . are you sure thats what the slip said? 13.3 at 103 seems about normal. but yea, that 4v should be in the 12s with a good tune in place of the timing adj
