Track results frm yesterday,,not happy
Well, yesterday was our privat track day at Bradenton and the track was slick as snot and the weather was Africa hot.
First two passes were on slicks (my first time ever) and I wish someone would've told me that although the car feels out of shape that I just should have stayed in the gas. Man, I pedaled the car most of the way down the track. Call me a girl and put a skirt on me.
Run 1: 13.5
Run 2: 13.6 (Confirmed by wife that left front wheel had some daylight underneath it. It also popped the hood latch loose at the launch. Hood was waving at me the whole way down the track.
Rest of the day was spent on my drag radials.
Launching at 4500 my R/T's were in the 1.9's and the best I could get her to was 13.1 at 105mph. I'll get my slips out when I get home and post the numbers.
If I purchase slicks/wheels I will need a couple things tho:
1) Hood pins
2) Anti-roll bar or air bag
3) Better rear shocks
4) Set of brass ***** so I can keep my foot to the floor.
