Ok so this time I thaught I was going to get beat horribly since i stepped up to an old Pinto tubbed with a blown small block and a little shot of nitrous! Well I get the phone call of setting it all up today about 11am and agree to it not knowing anything really about it besides a blown 302 pinto. I see the car pull up tonight with no hood....a tire that was just intimidating and a small block with a roots blower on it! I was like fuuuudge i'm gonna get spanked so i might as well ask for a couple cars right away....well he doesnt even ask about my car jus says he will set me out 3 so i was like ok and jumped all over that deal. Turns out it a small block 302 with a Aluminum Edelbrock heads, cam, wieland blower on 8psi and a 75 plate shot on a set of Mickey Thompson sportman times.

Now you got me in my semi stock '04 gt daily driven on a set of 28x10 ET streets, 125shot and 116 gas. Didnt seem like a good matchup if you asked me...well we line up the 1st run. He wants to do 1/8 mile giving me 3 cars....4500rpm hold and launch on the bottle.....yea it seemed like a had it in 3rd gear...nope it was 1st gear! Too much bottle pressure froze up the solenoid and the kit sprayed all fuel and i bogged really bad...let off the button and made sure it was 1st gear, let off the button and hit 2nd....tried the kit again...bogged so i went ahead on motor and he beat me by a car after me having a horrible time!
We line up a 2nd run after we told him what happened so he agreed to go again....i run him on nothing but motor not even trying the kit....beat him 1/8 mile barely....meaning if the kit had worked he would have lost horribly!!! OH well just another kill for my book after a crappy night.
