Default hit up the track today

second time ever at the track. first run was ****. second was better. heres my numbers

best reaction time was .305
60' 2.178
330 6.156
1/8 9.405
MPH 76.94
1000 12.193
1/4 14.529
MPH 96.93


ran this with near 200 lbs of extra weight in the car and near bald tires that were ****ty in the first place. and i coulda ran better but left.

saw a stock gt. with slicks and 100 shot of nitrous. ran a 12.01. im considering the spray

You def. can improve cause your car should have more in it. My car when it had the old 4.6 non pi motor in it, and just a few mods, ran the same time as yours. Get rid of the extra 200lbs and get some drag radials.
Not bad for second time. Once you go more, you'll learn what you need to do to get it down the track faster.

lol i know it should b alot faster. i had two runs. one sucked cuz i was nervous and this one was better. i wanted to run it like four more times but the track went to stupid brackets and i just left.

this guy down the street from me has a camaro with an lt1 in it with a ****load of miles and his best time is 14.4. so i went to see what i could run. im goin back next wednesday. ill beat the camaro. then on top of that some kid with a dodge neon r/t wants to race. and is tryin to tell me its an srt4 and i kno its not but i just let it slide. ill whoop his ***. not that i can even brag about it but still. im gunna make him put money down or no race lol

yeah your times will drop alot once you get used to driving at the track. Your 60' isnt too bad for a first time at all i know guys who have been going for a long time and still cant go 2.0x 60' and your only a tenth off that so be proud.

yea i launched from 1100-1300 rpms cant remember exactly where the needle was at. then i just punched it and popped the clutch out completely. anything i should do differently? any advice is greatly appreciated. soon i will b racin a camaro with an lt1 an feel i can beat it but i need as best of a run i can possibly get

well i mean am i laucnhin from the right rpms on street tires? ppl told me to pop the clutch a lil then feather it............ never tried it, prob will fck up the run real bad if i did lol. any advice like that to shorten my 60' time cuz if i shorten that then the 1/4 mile will drop alot

o yea i was wonderin if takin out my passenger side headlight is worth it or not

in the 1/4 with the stock box if you pull the intake silencer its worth a solid 1mph in the 1/4.

As per 60' i always slipped it from 3kish out of the hole and got many many 2.0x 60's.
