That seems about right. Though I have a good friend with an '02 Auto running 13.05 n/a with just bolt-ons...245 rwhp. Car is setup properly for the track and he has 150 runs on the car this season alone so he has LOTS of practise.

 

I haven't ran the 1/4 yet but I have busted a 8.50 at 80 MPH in the 1/8!

 

My car has never been raced / launched. Though it only has 2500 miles on it though.

I ditto what MT#1 just said. With the stock tires on it, there is very little these cars can't take. Race it!

 

When it ran the 8.50 it had 3.73 gears, pulleys, mac CAI, pro5.0 short throw, hypertech power tuning,o/r H, welded on 40 series flows, 275/40 Nitto Drag radials, and steeda full lenth sub frames! I have since added an accufab t/b, C&L plenum, I went to FFW about a month ago and bought some crap that I will have installed by the end of December which will include bbk LT's, mac prochamber/or mac H(still debating on this one), D&D CC plates, D&D coil overs, D&D Tubular K-member, D&D tubular A-arms, D&D upper and lower control arms, strange 12 way adjustable shocks/struts! Which will be topped of with my 17x9 black bullits up front and the 17x10.5 out back with 315/35 Nitto DR's!.... there might be some other crap might have evaded my list......

Oh and this is with my heavy azz vert! Suprises the sh*t otta alot of peope with a vert running times like that! But that was then! I will do some weight saving as well! It will be insteresting to see what kinda times she'll pull of this time around! Hoping for a 8.0! I do hoewever have a nitrous kit as well!

 

I would but I didnt buy the car, I dont make the rules. The track closes today so hopefully next spring I'll be able to finally make it out there.

00 GT auto 13.6 with stock 17's. magnaflows catback steeda pullies 70 mil t/b mac cai. just had 3.73 installed 2 weeks ago but tracks were either closed or rained out. hopefully wed and a 13.3 1/4

 

02 5 speed gt/k&n, MT o/r X, accufab tb & plenum, u/d pullies,40 series flows, steeda tri-axe shifter/ 13.72 103mph / stock tires=horrible 60' time 2.23 getting a tune, 3:73's, alum d/s, and subframe connectors in a few weeks, with that and some nitto's hope to hit low 13's

I have an 02 automatic and race almost every week although I'm done for this season. Ready for off season mod's.

Pullies, X pipe w/cats. Cat back, C & L plenum and 75mm TB. 4.30's, Nitto 275/50/15 on Weld draglites. SCT tuned

Hope to hit 12.4 - 12.5 n/a next year and mid to low 11's on a 100 shot.

 

!4.2@ 98mph. Before gears and SCT tune. After 14.3 @97.58mph. Taking the tune out and hopeful for a 13.9 with gear swap to 3.73. Trying to catch stanger00. Not to bad for a N/A conv. Eventually I will be able to get to a 12 sec car by march!
