Default Badfish's first time at the track :)

yep...first time ever. did five runs all were pretty nice...all N/A (nitrous isn't in quite yet) I'll give you guys my first and last runs...which were coincidently my worst and best runs. remeber this is at an altitude of 5800 ft. beware, my 60's SUCK...on DR's too, but I didnt do burnouts i just spun em a lil.

Run 1 (first time ever down the track)

R/T ... .211
60' ... 2.352
330 ... 6.434
1/8 ... 9.814
MPH ... 73.77
1000 ... 12.703
1/4 ... 15.130
MPH ... 90.69

*Corrected ET and MPH: 13.18 @ 102.37

Run 5

R/T ... .007 - w00t
60' ... 2.109
330 ... 6.083
1/8 ... 9.425
MPH ... 74.48
1000 ... 12.274
1/4 ... 14.684
MPH ... 91.74

*Corrected ET and MPH: 12.79 @ 103.56

* I used Modular Depot to correct the times
Based on:
Temp: 80°
Humidity: 70%
Track Altitude: 5800 feet
Pressure: 30.15 in.

here are my mods if your wondering:
- slp o/r X
- flowmaster super 40's
- 4.10's
- pulleys
- K&N CAI
- predator handheld tuner
- short shifter
- DR's
- stock suspension except for lowering springs

oh...and I think I'm addicted

hmm.. you left the 30.15 pressure in like I did when I converted my track times. Any ideas on how you can find the actual pressure? cuz i played around with it and it can dramatically effect your numbers too lol.

anyways.. not too bad on your corrected numbers. are you gonna do good burnouts eventually or are you just trying to save your tires for as long as possible?

yeah i messed with it too and really effects it hardcore! well if you think about it the pressure is really low in the mountains...and when i lowered it a lil..it said my times were like 10 and 9 seconds lol...

the only I could guess for pressure is on the slip it says "Absolute Baro 23.69" but that really makes my ET's low

and yeah, I'm just saving the burnouts for nitrous

I'm not trying to be a dick, how on earth do you have 300rwhp with just those mods.....there are people on here with long tube headers, cams and tb/plenum ect, custom dyno.....that are not making 300rwhp?

i wasn't trying to be a dick either. I'm not making any of this stuff up man, if you want me to take a picture of the timeslip I can...then you can use modulardepot or anyother site you trust that converts ET's to sealevel.

I ran damn good dude, I beat a camaro (60's) a mustang GT, lost to a modded c5 by .04 seconds, beat an ls1...and beat a fast *** k5 blazer, LOL

yeah i was a little suprised after the conversion too...but i just entered the stats typed it as I saw it

oh and by the way i was quoting your sig...

"04 DSG Mach 1 (5 speed)

Go Mods
Steeda Tri-Ax
K&N FIPK
Mac Prochamber
Magnaflow Catback
Custom Dyno Tune
NGK TR6 Plugs
304rwhp & 330rwtq"

you dont have 300hp, and even at your elevation, your horsepower is decreased.

Jon, you dont even have LT's. I dont remember, do you have a tb/plenum? I honestly just dont remember, but I'm hopin r3dn3ck can chime in here and say that intake, exhaust, and gears can get you into the 12's. How was your traction? Are 60' times affected by elevation? It all just seems too good to be true. I mean, swervo ran low 13's on dr's and he's near 300 rwhp. I wonder how correct the sae thing is

swervo may not have corrected his numbers though. it is VERY hard to compare ET's on the internet just because of all the variables that is effected by it.

still though. his 300 rwhp roughly equals 350 bhp. Thats comparable to a 97-04 vette, which runs low 13's. So his track run seems very realistic. But even if jon had 300 bhp(which he cant), thats a mid-13 second car. Yes I know he has 4.10's but there's an issue of traction so I cant possibly see a high 12's car. Maybe if he had suspension work and slicks...I hate to be the one who calls BS, and I'm not calling it, I'm just skeptical.

And jealous

Ive always said SAE is cheater setup. Anyone can throw out some low *** SAE numbers. Personally, I dont post any SAE things because your time is so reducted by it. Anything I post is real world numbers that im running, on whatever day/temp/track blah blah.
