yea, so she wants to race her '00 GT in August @ Maryland Itnl. raceway in the NDRA Nopi chic class....all girls. Well she doesnt wanna do the bikini contest anymore...she'd rather race, so I agreed to it. I'm putting a 125 wet kit on her car here soon and buying a set of M/T street drag radials. I'm gonna start taking her to the track this week so she can get some practice in at the track rather than the street. Well I got to reading the rule book a little while ago, and it turns out yea FWD/AWD and RWD cars are allowed BUT it says in big bold letters NO V8's in this class! WTF some BS if you ask me, now she's pissed since she can't go out and rip up other chics driving slow honda's like she and I had planned. Maybe I can convince her to just say screw it and run with the guys in the street ET class where they will allow V8's.

 

Get them MTs and theres a good chance youll be towing that car home with a bad launch.

I say she goes for the bikini thing and you post pictures.

 

the M/T's are bad on launches...it's not like she would be leaving that hard anyway....plus the cars being trailered anyway. I'de rather her be on a good tire so when she comes on the kit it wont spin.

As for the bikini contest....lol she's gotten tired of doing it, but i'll give a few teaser shot's of her posing by my stang from last weekend here soon.

I think your right but, last year and the years before V8's were allowed. I think NDRA realized that chicks driving a V8 with nitrous or turbo or supercharged will mop a chick in a lil 4 banger with 1 power adder.
