there is this grand prix gt turbo and i am wondering if i could take him what do you guys think

 

Uhhh... we will need a little more info to make that call. I have raced Grand ****** that have gone 12.90's.

 

well all i know is that it has a turbo

 

i would have to say no...

you have an old 5.0... they didn't put out taht much power then...

these new v6s that GM uses are peppy stock... so, with a turbo... the thing probably moves... (if its a newer grand prix)

 

Never herd of a Turbo Grandprix, you sure it's not the GTP one thats supercharged? If it's a GTP and has pulley upgrades......get a good look at his taillights up close before you run him!

 

I have only seen them with the roots type blower. I guess there could be a turbo kit out for them. I have had some good races with a couple of those, deceivingly fast p.o.s.'s.
What have you done to your 5.0? No offense but they are real dogs stock.

 

well i raced him and beat him. i beat him on a second gear roll i killed him i swear i left him like 2 cars behind but as soon as i hit third he started to catch up he was at about the back of my window and then he just stayed there

and year model engine etc and mods did he have?

 

i dont know what mods he had
as for me i have an o/r x and an aftermarket manifold i dont know what kind it is it was on the car when i bought it

 

Just curious, was the car an Auto? if so then no wonder you beat him. Not to be a dick but run a real race....dead stop, Rolls are for dinner!

hey i know but a win is a win and i know i probably cant beat him from a stop but he wanted to race me from a roll so i said ok why not dont tell me **** about anthing that happed that day

 

A win is a win. If he wanted to go from a roll then he got what he asked for.
