Spin was banned for the Bipolar comment, as someone said, it was WAY out of line, however, Ive released the perm. ban down to a 2 week ban. Had it been ANY other member, I wouldve done the same thing, NOT just because its Mike, I do NOT take kindly to people being screwed over the internet, and I do NOT take kindly to personal jabs like that, you say other, more harsh things are said all the time, but they are in an OBVIOUS JOKING manner, not the way Spin came across to Mike. Id have banned him for doing that to any one of you. Yes, Mike is my friend, I however, was doing what I felt was right, and todd, dont worry, Spin will be lucky to sell something on this board after this incident. And if something EVER happens like this again, I WILL NOT take it calmly, or go easy. Let this be a warning to ANY member, you SELL WHAT YOU HAVE, not what you think will sell better. And if you promise a freaking FULL REFUND, you will ISSUE a full refund.

The reason I lifted the ban was because it was only put in place for the personal attack, had nothing to do with the lights.

IDK, there have been some serious comments about people wishing others were dead. I can re-call at least one member saying this, and it wasn't in a joking manner.

As far as the whole thing. Spin shouldn't have posted one thing and sold something else that wasn't pictured. He was 100% wrong there.

MCM I don't think is at fault much at all. Yes, he should have done more research into what AM sells and saw it wasn't the same that Spin sold him.

Here's what I think should go down, and would be fair to both parties.

Spin should refund Mike the "difference" between the $138 that the kit sells on Ebay and the $200 that Mike purchased it for.

I know this doesn't have much to do with it, since Mike is arguing that it wasn't the same kit he was expecting, but he probably didn't do as much research as maybe one should.


And Mike, you can definitely turn around and sell those on Ebay for a good amount.

I had a pair of one year old Projectors that I bought for $214 and sold them on Ebay for $205 a year later! AND one side even had slight oxidation (of course the bidders knew this)

Guys, just want you all to know I posted the thread after the install of one side @ 9:34 pm on January 12th. The first offer from Spin for a full refund was received @ 10:17 pm on January 12th. The second offer for a full refund came the next day, January 13th at 2:34 PM. He knew I had already installed the one side and STILL offered a full refund. It wasn't until after I took him up on his offer that he became hostile.
If anyone wants further proof, I would be MORE than happy to post my password so you all can log in a see the chain of PM's between us.
He is a dishonest seller, plain and simple. That is the only point I want to get across to everyone on this board. Take it for what it is worth. There are so many inconsistencies with his stories, but a lot of you are still trying to find fault in my actions. The only thing I am guilty of here......was trusting a fellow Mustang Boards member. :shakeno:

I dunno, it all sounded like "lets see who can give someone the bad name first." Spin tried to, and it backfired. I remember seeing his post for the lights, I've been looking for the covers or wtf ever they are called, i just call everything a do-dad anyways.

The whole "i'll refund you" thing was a bluff, in hopes that you would give him a better name for himself saying how good doing business was with him ect.. He never expected you to say you actually wanted it, I don't think.

I know what you mean when you say you don't think to check on stuff when you first get the package, this is a good learning lesson for those of us who don't though. We need to, regardless of who we buy from.

The lights work ok. They are not as bright as I thought they would be. That could be due to the fact that they are not installed in a car/housing that was designed for HIDs. Since they do not work on Hi/Lo Beams, I am forced to rewire my 4 fog lights to work independently off my fog light switch. They are blue, I'll give the description in the ad that much.
Honestly, I wish I could re-sell them and get the ones I thought I was getting but since there is NO way I could ever get anything close to $150 for these since they are selling on eBay BRAND NEW for $138, I guess I gotta keep them.

I do have one final option, as many of you know, I drive a Tractor Trailer for a living. We deliver all over the South East. I am currently on my way to Jacksonville, Fl to deliver a load of Yarn. I can request a pick up at Port Everglades just outside of Ft. Lauderdale. While I am there, I can swing through Miami, since I have his work address, and see if I can settle this in person. :salook:
