Announcing upcoming parts for MB members only.
Hey guys... just wanted to thank everyone for making and keeping MB the best board to be on. I don't know about the rest of you but it's still comfortable and fun for me to be here every day. Since y'all make my life better, I'll offer to make you poor-er in return.
Sorta....I'm going to be bringing out some new pointless/painless upgrade parts kits for MB members only. Neato stuff like flashy looking bolt on injector rail setups with cool looking lines and filters, rear diffusers, cowl re-pops, and custom t-shirts. These will not be sold to anyone but MB members in good standing and as usual, come at my cost. These are normally luxury items that are hard to afford or to figure out and most guys just end up passing on them for those reasons. I hope to simplify that.
None of these new products will do anything dramatic to improve the average street car in any meaningful way (except pick up the looks a bit and maybe fix a lingering design issue that Ford let go). The fuel rails help even out fuel flow and add another filter for longer injector life and better average cylinder output. The other stuff is primarily for looks but also helps in the aerodynamics department. The shirts... whatever foul thing you want to say, I'll make. No exceptions... if you want to pay the 14 bucks, I'll make it.
I'm looking for ideas too... LMK if you have a product idea. I'll see if I can get it made.
Finally, now that my 5.4 project is done, I'll be clearing out a lot of inventory of spare parts. A complete list will be here soon.

mileage... really I have no idea. I've put 20 bucks in it since I got it back and there's still gas in it. If other swaps are any indicator then I'll get about 1-2mpg less if I stay out of the right pedal. I was getting like 8-13 with only driving 5 miles 1 way really aggressively. Can't be much worse now. Actually I have to be a lot more careful with the gas pedal now. The Kevlar clutch is sooooo touchy and gives little feedback so it's easy to roast em or stall. Neither is ok... and it's so much louder than before and I don't want to attract any more cops so I've toned it down that much more.

First items I'll be adding are (note you're getting them at what they cost me to build):
99-04 Billet fuel rail kit. Includes everything. Just bolt it up and drive away. 350 + shipping
96-04 Oil Air Separator kit. Includes either a tap to thread your plenum or advance exchange of a tapped stock upper plenum in return for your old one. 140 + shipping
I've got cowls and diffusers in the works. those will take a couple months to get to market but they're gunna be killer.

You've got my curiosity peaked with 96's idea...!
as for the rear diffusers- I would love one, I had been thinking about doing one myself! Though functional, one would imagine not incredibly useful. But cool looking! And, who the hell else has them?

ok... this is an easy product to make from the looks of it. I've started working on some .357 mag and .38spc pieces and I'm working on some .223 and .30 carbine setups too.
If you have a calibre that you really have a thing for, LMK and I'll see about custom making a set.
Prices right now aren't set but I'm thinking something in the $20 bucks shipped range depending on what the cost of the supplies and total effort required is. Remember, I'm not limiting these to mustangs... any car you have pop-up type door locks on can have a set if there's a calibre of ammunition case that's near it in diameter and length.
Rear diffuser is finished with the basic design and integration patter now I've just got to work out making it easy to produce. It's fully functional and bolts on under your fuel tank straps. If you have a functional wing like steedas or an R wing then you need a diffuser to finish out the air spoil at the back of the car.
