Default Grille Delete Mounting Hardware?

Should there not be a few screws or something with the Grille Delete kit?

Was looking here (http://secure.50resto.com/images/downloads/17814k.pdf) and they refer to small screws for the grill and the pony. All I got was 3 pieces, no instructions, no hardware, etc...

Maybe I just missed something here...

Thanks...

Also.. just checked and what is the double sided tape everyone is referring to? I understand what it's for, but figured it would be included. At least the chin spoiler came with mounting hardware... I'm sort of perplexed looking at these 3 pieces.. lol. What do I need to go out and buy now to properly install this? Shame on me for not asking up front I guess.

This article shows 4 small clips.. http://www.fordmuscle.com/archives/2004/07/Project01GT/

and refers to bolting on the pony.. Yikes... Maybe y'all just forgot to include something. ??

I used two screws that came off the old grill. The fit right in the holes for the pony and are very secure.

What about the 4 studs that fit into the bumper? How did you secure this? The http://www.fordmuscle.com/archives/2004/07/Project01GT/ details show 4 small silver clips to fit over the studs and thus hold the bottom peice down.

Thanks for the info on the Pony Mounting.

I went to autozone and got an assortment of speed nuts for like 2-3 bucks and used them on the studs for the trim piece. I think the studs were pretty short so I put the nuts on backwards to get a firm bite. The were kinda a pain in the *** to get on but worked perfectly. I dunno if the two sided tape is a good idea, the studs are designed to hold the front trim slighltly off the bumper to allow water to come out and to prevent the paint from getting rubbed off.

Bob is telling me that you need to re-use your factory screws to mount the grille delete.

okey dokey. I'll give it a shot. I just wanted to avoid having my factory grill off and not have the parts I need. Everything I have read suggests that the 4 plastic studs that fit down through the orginal holes need small clips to secure the new grille.

Anyone know the size of those little slip nuts that hold the grill delete to the bumper?

I'd like to get some hardware too to help hold down my grill delete...

Those factory bolts are near impossible to get back in....what type of lock nuts or whatever can I use or other clips? Thanks..
