Exactly, the mongoose name comes solely from their tune. That is hands down the greatest supercharger tune available today.

 

your best tunes are going to come from Ed Clark, thats hands down.

Me too. Dont know why anyone would trust a 4k dollar supercharged engine with a mail order tune.

 

but the mongoose kit also comes with fuel pump and injectors....

 

and mass air flow meter and xcalibrator 2 and iat and spark plugs

KB wont let them do that as far as I know. You either have to order from them, or have the place you bought it from install it. Kind of a bummer.

 

then buy a mongoose kit and get a tune as well. however, the fuel pumps most kits come with are useless. the albro 255 lph inline pumps are garbage. they go bad quick when subjected to the variable voltage sent by the ecu to the pump. this only applies to the returnless style fuel systems in the 99up 4.6 applications.

 

The mongoose comes with a focus pump.

 

oh. well even still. the focus pump doesnt support much horsepower. on a stock motor, with you definetly not going over 400 at the tires then youll be ok.
