anyone have the m/t catted x pipe? differences tween slp and m/t? sound, power,

With the SLP your mainly paying for a brand name. The MT Pipe is just as good as the SLP one, but its just not modular. Thats the only big difference.

 

Chris, when you say modular do ya mean the adapters to remove/replace the cats/race pipes. I mean I would have got the mt pipe already if thats the case cause I'm not worried about inspection

 

yeah thats the meaning behind modular.

We can get the MT pipes out a lot faster than the SLP pipes. Takes about half as much time to get those out to our customers, because we stock those in high quantity.

thanks for answering, its not the quality im questioning, ive boughten products from m/t and have had great service and timely delivery and quality products, i was wondering if the sound and performance gains are measurable or indifferent, thanks again,

 

Well, I'm hopin for a deeper louder sound and I beleive its supposed to be around 15 HP gain although many say more like 10 HP. I almost bought the slp race pipes, but a bunch of folks said they're too loud, so I'm gonna start with the off-road x-pipe and then try some different mufflers.
